Strange Coincidence

June 4th, 2009 by Rory Olsen

This may be the shortest entry that I’ve ever made.

Tuesday morning I discovered that the battery on my truck had gone off to wherever deceased batteries go.  It took me an hour or so to find someone who would give me a jump start.  I bought a new battery yesterday That should have been the end of the story.

In yesterday evening’s mail, I received my automobile insurance policy for the next year.  Right up front in the package was a notice that the company had just added an additional benefit–a 1-800 number to call to provide assistance with the most common problems associated with running a motor vehicle–flat tires, dead batteries and needing a tow truck.

If I were the paranoid sort, I’d swear that someone has been reading my mail.  Fortunately, I’m not.

    Thank you for your comments.

Actually, I can’t claim credit for the site. It is provided to me by my publisher, Booklocker.com.

As a writer, I enjoy posting on the site. However, many days I don’t have anything to say, since I am not one to write five hundred words on what I had for breakfast.

    Do you have a blog?
