Congratulations, President Obama on winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
Since the cutoff for nominations for the prize in any year is February 1st and he was inaugurated on January 20th, one must assume that President Obama received the award for things done beforehand. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nobel_peace_prize I am not sure what it was he did that earned him such a prestigious award, but whatever he did, he deserves praise for doing it.
By earning the award, President Obama joins an illustrious group of past recipients which includes former Veep Al Gore; Mohamed ElBaradei, the head of the International Atomic Agency, who managed to persuade the Iranians not to go nuclear; Jimmy Carter; Yasser Arafat; and Linus Pauling. http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/
Congratulations once again!
